Where Do I Have to Go Today to Experience Tomorrow’s Climate?

The figures below show satellite images where each pixel was moved to the closest location that in the year 2000 had the annual mean temperature that the pixel is projected to have in 2100. The gray lines mark the actual position of the coastlines for reference. A smoothed multi model mean of the A2 scenario of the IPCC AR4 was used for the calculations.
